Sunday Sweets Celebrates Fall, Basically
Happy Fall, y'all!
Yep, once it hits October I don't care HOW hot it is outside, it's time for autumn leaves on everything:
(Cupcakes & Confetti, New Jersey)
...and big chunky sweaters:
(Nana's Home Cakery, California)
At least on our pumpkins. :D
Seriously, though, can you believe that's CAKE? I am agog. AGOG I SAY.
By now you've probably picked up that orange is my favorite color, so Fall is when I get to show you how well orange pairs with soft blues:
(Culinary Dots, Germany)
... and dramatic burgandies:
(Sweet T's Bakeshop, New Jersey)
... and of course, bright purple:
(Brittany May Cakes, Canada)
Eeee, so fun!
Fall is also when everyone gets a little basic, but in the best possible way. I actually find it comforting that half the planet is hanging cute fall garlands on their mantels and reveling in a Pumpkin Spice Latte:
(Smetanka Cakes, Belarus)
And speaking of all those Fall garlands:
(Cozy Oven, Toronto)
I want this one.
In the cake world it doesn't get more basic than a unicorn head cake, BUT, if you pumpkin-ize it...
(Katy Sue Designs Cakes, UK)
BOOM, BABY.
Love it with the sunflowers!
Oh hey, I haven't shown you my favorite orange color combo yet:
(Cupcakes & Confetti, New Jersey)
Orange and teal is always my favorite - but throw in some bright pink and I'm EXTRA happy.
Also where do you stand on candy corn? Love 'em or curse 'em? A friend told me she loves the Brach's mix of candy corn and chocolate peanuts, and I have to admit, I am intrigued.
And finally, let's go out with either a 2024 mood OR, if you're a typical introvert hermit like me, just another Friday night mood:
(Denise's Delights, Illinois)
PREACH.
I hope these made your heart happy, my friend, and reminded you to get out those decorations you love, bake something fun, or just go get yourself a PSL. Hey, you've earned it. ::hugs::

P.S. Is it too early for the Sanderson Sisters? Asking for MANY friends:
Hocus Pocus Women's Tee
There's also an "I smell children" version at the link, haha.
