A Prayer For Peace

I'm still reeling from the tragedy unfolding in Newtown, Connecticut right now, but John tells me we're already getting complaints about today's original post. When he called to tell me a few minutes ago I was still reading through the news and crying, so I absolutely don't want to further distress any of our readers. Since I realize that joking about horror movies - even goofy ones featuring Christmas characters - may hit some raw nerves today, please consider this your pre-post warning to considering skipping the next post.

I'd also like to say that our hearts and thoughts are with Connecticut, and if ever there was a time to come together as a nation and work together for peace, this is it.
